एक घर में एक मोटी सी बिल्ली रहती थी वह हमेशा चूहे को पकड़न कोशिश करती रहती थी एक दिन उसने देखा की एक छोटा सा चूहा रसोई में से रोटी का टकड़ा लेकर भाग रहा है बिल्ली तुरंत उसके पीछ दौड़ी चूहा मेज के नीचे छुपा कभी डिब्बे के पीछे आखिर में वह दीवाल के छोटे से बल में छुप गया बिल्ली बाहर बैठी रही और मायूस होकर बोली आज फिर बच गया
