My India flag

The Indian national flag, known as the Tiranga, is a symbol of national pride. Adopted on July 22, 1947, it features three horizontal bands: saffron (bravery and sacrifice) at the top, white (peace and truth) in the center, and green (faith and prosperity) at the bottom. In the middle lies the navy blue Ashoka Chakra with 24 spokes. The tricolor was originally designed by freedom fighter Pingali Venkayya. According to the Flag Code of India, it must be made of hand-spun and hand-woven khadi bunting, reflecting Mahatma Gandhi's vision of self-reliance. The Ashoka Chakra represents the 'Wheel of Law' and signifies righteousness and forward movement.
